Don’t want to cook but still hungry for a healthy snack? You don’t even need a stove or oven for this tomato feta salad! Don’t like olives? Don’t worry. Leave them out or replace with anything you like!
I am not sure why, but I like black olives alot more than the green ones. That's why I normally do this tomato feta salad with black olives, but I guess it is just really up to you and your preference.
I know this recipe is not for everyone. Tomatoes, Feta and Olives - these are all ingredients a kid or picky eater would downright despise :-D That's why I am giving you ideas to swap ingredients such as Mozzarella instead of Feta or black olives instead of green.
However I am a complete feta lover and if you are aswell you will love this recipe :-)
Tomato Feta Salad
Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 cup feta cheese (crumbled)
- 1/2 cups olives
- salt, pepper, basil
Instructions
1. Cut the 2 tomatoes, put them into a microwaveable bowl and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
2. Put the bowl into the microwave: 600 W / 2 minutes.3. After 2 minutes, add the crumbled feta to your tomatoes.
4. Put the bowl into the microwave again: 600 W / 2 minutes.
5. Cut the olives and add them to the bowl with tomatoes and feta.6. Put the bowl into the microwave again: 600 W / 2 minute.
