Sauce Béarnaise


Want to try something different than Sauce Hollandaise? Then make Sauce Béarnaise next time you are cooking. It tastes delicious on like everything you can imagine: Beef, Pasta, Veggies and alot more. 

It really is an allrounder. Some like it on their french fries (yes, you have heard correctly), I like it even more on my fried fish or even on sandwiches.


Watch the video below, it really is super easy. I always do alot more and keep the sauce in my freezer so I always have some spare sauce when I need it! It especially comes in handy when I am alone at home and my husband is at work. I most of the time are too lazy to only cook for myself so it's always good to have something up my sleeve.

Sauce Béarnaise
Ingredients
  • 2 egg yolk
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. sweet mustard
  • 1 tbsp. crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. tarragon
  • salt, pepper
Instructions
1. Take a bowl and add all of the ingredients except for the butter. 2. Blend the ingredients. Now cook up the butter until it is melted and add it carefully to the other ingredients.3. Blend again and season with salt and pepper.
