Did you know that it is possible to cook pasta in your microwave? All you need to do is to make sure your raw noodles are fully covered with water. Easy, right?
I remember when I was a kid I so loved Spaghetti Bolognese. Probably like every other child in Germany. This dish is so common over here that 8 out of 10 parents serve it at their children's birthday parties. (Along with Wieners and French Fries ;-))
As you can see you don’t always need the original Bolognese Sauce recipe when it has to go quickly. Bolognese takes a bit more time. Simply use tomato sauce and add some herbs. The only thing you really gotta take of is: make sure the beef is fully cooked. So please if you see that the beef is not done, increase the microwave time.

Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw spaghetti pasta
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup ground beef
- 1 tbsp. cream
- 1 pinch salt, pepper
- fresh herbs, such as Parsley, Basil and Oregano
Instructions
1. Put raw pasta into a microwaveable container and cover the pasta with water.2. Put it into the microwave: 800 W / 10 mins.3. Meanwhile, take the tomato sauce, put it into a bowl and add salt, pepper, provencal herbs and cream. Stir well.4. When the pasta is ready, strain off water and add the ground meat and the tomato sauce mix to the pasta.5. Put it into the microwave again: 800 W / 6 mins.
