If you are a fan of low carb then I am sure you are aware of a these "low carb breads or rolls" that simply taste like eggs...ewww. I really HATE them. I get sick when eating it and normally throw my low carb resolutions overboard.
But I promise you this recipe does taste a lot better. The consistency is more like toast so I always toast it before eating. That way it doesn't feel like a low carb sandwich.

Low Carb Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup quark
- 1 tsp baking powder
- salt, bread seasoning
- butter, cheese, ham, salad, bell pepper
Instructions
1. Put the oat bran and the baking powder into a microwaveable container.
2. Add the egg and quark to the oat bran and mix it (stir well).
3. Add some salt and seasoning to the bowl of oat bran, egg and quark (you can use bread seasoning for example or just skip this step if you don’t like to add any seasoning).
.4. Cover the container with a microwaveable foil or lid and put it into the microwave: 800 W / 3 minutes.
5. Take it out, flip the bread and put it into the microwave again for 1 more minute (without lid).6. Topping: Add some butter, cheese, ham, salad and bell pepper.
