Sauce Bolognese

For everyone who thinks Bolognese Sauce is more than just tomato sauce! Because it is!

I remember when I was a kid I so loved Spaghetti Bolognese. Probably like every other child in Germany. This dish is so common over here that 8 out of 10 parents serve it at their children's birthday parties. (Along with Wieners and French Fries ;-))

But I also use this sauce when I am doing Lasagna. I just add a little crème fraîche and tadddaaa. Well, lasagna IS pasta, isn't it ;-)

The good thing is you can really make a lot more Sauce Bolognese than you need for one dish. Simply put it into the fridge or use some freezer bags and put the sauce into the freezer, so you are always prepared!

This especially is a nice matter if you're having a single household. I always hate it to cook elaborately when there is no one I can share the relish with.
