Friends are coming over, but no time to prepare any snacks? I have a solution for you!
A tasty solution even. The good thing about this is that you don't have to make the puff pastry on your own. Just get some puff pastry at the supermarket. I recommend Puff Pastry out of the fridge and not deep-frozen, because if you are using deep-frozen puff pastry you will have to defrost it obviously before starting. Wow, alot of puff pastry in this section O.O
I guess it's better to stop babbling and let the pictures below do the rest!
Of course you can top/stuff them with anything you like. How about some bell peppers or make it pizza style with tomato sauce and salami to give you a few ideas.
As you can see you only need 2 big slices of puff pastry and you'll get like 22 little puff pastry sticks depending on how thick you cut them.
I don't necessarily serve them with a dip because I don't want to ruin the taste of the puff pastry. But I might be a little weird here. I always love dough, bread or crust more than the actual topping :-)

Puff Pastry Sticks
Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry, oven-ready
- 1 cup ham cubes
- 2 cups grated cheese
- 1 cup spinach
- cream cheese
- fresh herbs (basil, parsley)
Instructions
1. Take the first puff pastry rectangle and add a thin coat of cream cheese. (You can use oven-ready puff pastry from the supermarket as they already come in a rectangle shape).2. Now add the hamcubes to one side and the spinach to the other side. If you like, you can also spread herbs on the puff pastry to give it an aromatic note. Note: You can use fresh spinach or frozen, but make sure you squeezed all the water out of it before putting it onto the pastry.3. Take the grated cheese and spread it all over the puff pastry. Take the second puff pastry rectangle and put it right on the top of the first.4. Now use a pizza cutter to slice sticks. When putting them onto the griddle, try swirling them to get this twisted shape.5. Now put the pastry sticks into the oven for: 400 F° (fairly hot) for 12-15 minutes
